As a Data Engineer at Iute Group, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work with modern data tools to build scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring seamless data processing and transformation. Your expertise will enable our teams to derive valuable insights and make data-driven decisions. Reporting to our Engineering Manager, Data & Analytics, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our data architecture and maintain high standards of data quality.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data systems and pipelines.

  • Analyze and integrate raw data from multiple sources to ensure quality and reliability.

  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance data quality and consistency.

  • Develop algorithms, models, and analytical tools to interpret trends and patterns.

  • Conduct complex data analysis and prepare datasets for predictive and prescriptive modeling.

  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition and optimize data infrastructure.

  • Collaborate closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders on data solutions.

Requirements, skills, and qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; a master’s is a plus.

  • Data engineering certification (e.g., Microsoft Azure Certified Data Engineer) is a plus.

  • Experience with Power BI is a strong advantage.
