Iute Group represented at the Western Balkans Digital Summit in Skopje

Iute took part in the Western Balkans Digital Summit 2025 in North Macedonia, one of the region’s key events focused on driving digital progress and collaboration. As a partner and active participant, we contributed to discussions on how innovation, digital skills, and cross-border cooperation can shape a smarter and more connected future.

The Western Balkans Digital Summit 2025, organised by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of North Macedonia, brought together more than 800 participants, speakers, experts, business professionals, and academia representatives from across the region. The summit served as a pivotal platform for sharing knowledge, discussing digital skills, and exploring opportunities to accelerate the region’s digital transformation.

Mart Ambur, Group Chief Technology Officer at Iute Group, participated in the panel “Accessing the EU digital market”, highlighting how bridging digital skills gaps and fostering collaboration can unlock new opportunities for businesses and individuals across the Western Balkans. His insights underscored Iute’s role as a regional thought leader committed to sharing knowledge, mentoring, and supporting the digital ecosystem.

“Digital skills are something that begins with people. People in WB6 (Western Balkans 6) are well advanced in having the technology at their fingertips (devices). Companies and state institutions have to come together and agree on standards and processes, both tech and legislation-wise, which support the society so that it can take advantage of the technology that they have in their possession,” said Ambur on stage.

The summit demonstrated that progress happens when expertise, vision, and collaboration come together. Iute’s partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the support of Minister Stefan Andonovski contributed to the success of the event, underlining the power of public-private cooperation in advancing digital capabilities.
