We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in DevSecOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating security practices into our DevOps processes and ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of security standards, cloud security, and automation within a CI/CD environment.

For this position, you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on DevSecOps, cloud security, and automation
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including security services and best practices
  • Knowledge in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
  • Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and SIEM solutions
  • Familiarity with container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
  • Understanding of networking and security protocols (e.g., TLS, VPN, firewall configurations)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Relevant security certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate)
Your opportunities and challenges with us would be
  • Collaborating with DevOps and development teams to embed security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Developing and implementing security automation tools and scripts for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Monitoring and analyzing security vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring that they are addressed in a timely manner
  • Designing, implementing, and managing security controls and best practices on AWS and Azure platforms
  • Ensuring compliance with industry security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST)
  • Performing regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing in cloud environments
  • Managing identity and access management (IAM) roles, policies, and permissions within AWS and Azure
  • Maintaining and updating security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices
  • Working with compliance teams to ensure that security controls meet regulatory requirements
  • Conducting security training and awareness sessions for DevOps and development teams
  • Leading and coordinating the response to security incidents and breaches, including root cause analysis and remediation
  • Implementing security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to detect and respond to threats in real-time
  • Performing post-incident analysis to improve security processes and controls
  • Acting as a security advocate within the organization, promoting a security-first mindset
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT, compliance, and product management, to address security challenges
  • Preparing and presenting security reports and dashboards to leadership
