As an Engineering Manager at Iute Group, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our wallet products, and ensuring the implementation of best practices in agile software engineering. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement the architecture of the product, manage production operations, and deliver the product roadmap.

Wallet (EMI – Electronic Money Institution) product is a secure, regulated, and efficient financial service that offers electronic money solutions to individuals and businesses, with a focus on innovation, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and advanced financial tools.

For this position, you will need
  • Experience as a product owner, engineering manager, business analyst, or similar role in the financial services industry
  • Expertise in agile software engineering practices
  • Track record in leading software engineering teams
  • Experience in requirements engineering and stakeholder management
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field
  • Proficiency in English
Your opportunities and challenges with us would be
  • Map the value chain and evolution scale
  • Define and implement the architecture of the Wallet value stream
  • Define and implement technology solutions and non-functional requirements of the product
  • Deliver the product roadmap in terms of features and functionalities
  • Manage production operations of the product
  • Build and lead a team of engineers through hiring or sourcing, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and people development
  • Ensure the availability of needed information, resources, and competences to meet the needs of the customers and business
  • Work closely with Business Product Manager(s) to align goals, understand where, to whom, why, and what needs to be delivered, and constantly prioritize the work so that the team focuses on the most important tasks at any given moment
  • Ensure that product lifecycle and technical debt are managed
Preferred qualifications would be
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effectively work in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly technical details
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
  • Estonian at a conversational level
