Mart Ambur appointed as Iute Group’s Chief Technology Officer
Starting November 15, Mart Ambur will lead the technology team at Iute Group, a fintech company operating in Southeastern European countries.
Tarmo Sild, CEO of the banking group operating in Moldova and the Balkans, believes the new CTO will support stable growth while ensuring scalability.
“Mart has experience in scaling and optimizing global business processes through technology, as well as leading diverse teams. The emphasis here is on the word ‘profitable.’ He’s a juggler who has consistently performed for a global audience with a kind smile. I am confident that his skills will be instrumental in harnessing the opportunities emerging from the rapid development of fintech, as well as in leading our talented IT engineers,” said Sild.
Mart Ambur’s career includes roles at Microsoft, leading IT functions at Swedbank, and, for nearly the last 12 years, managing IT operations and development at Kühne+Nagel, a global logistics solutions provider, where he also established the company’s IT Center located in Estonia.
Ambur expressed his enthusiasm about joining the fintech company, which offers payment, loan, and insurance services, and noted that he was particularly impressed by the ambition and growth-oriented mindset of Iute’s management and team. “I am highly motivated by the opportunity to foster growth and drive change. Iute is a fast-growing fintech company, and now is a great time to review our strategy with a fresh perspective, making necessary enhancements or adjustments to support business growth,” he said.
According to Tarmo Sild, technological excellence is crucial to ensuring ongoing business growth and a competitive advantage. “Our goal is for our technological solutions to support new functionalities and products while also being adaptable for expansion into new markets. The scalability of technology allows us to continue innovating and offer our customers extraordinary services,” Sild concluded.
